[Day 1]

• 7:50 Meeting at Meitetsu Bus Center 4F, Nagoya Station
• NEXT:Break (Service Area)
• 10:40 Free Time in Takayama (Approx. 110 min.)
  You will enjoy the antique streets and culture. Since Takayama is also known as a town of delicious local cuisines, you will also be delighted at eating out and shopping for souvenirs.
  • * Lunch is not included. Please enjoy eating out while strolling in the old town of Takayama.
• 13:35 Shirakawa-go (Free stroll) (Approx. 100 minutes)
  The village of Shirakawa-go was registered as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1995 for being "a remarkable example of the view or accumulations of a certain form of buildings and architectural techniques that illustrate the certain period of time, which is highly important in the history of human being."
  The center of the Gassho-zukuri communities is in the slightly northern side of the central area: Ogimachi District. You will learn the wisdom of traditional ways of living together with nature at the interactive facilities or historical museums of the local traditional cultures.

  Dinner is not included. Please arrange dinner on your own after arriving at the hotel.

[Day 2]

• Oarks Canal Park Hotel – Breakfast (Set meal)
  Depart from Oarks Canal Park Hotel
  Depending on congestion on the Alpine Route, the departure time on Day 2 may be earlier, or the return time may be significantly delayed.
  The schedule on Day 2 may change depending on traffic conditions on the Alpine Route.
  If weather conditions are dangerous, the Alpine Route may be closed, and the itinerary will be changed to sightseeing in Kanazawa.
• After arriving at Tateyama Station, begin the Alpine Route crossing:

  1) Tateyama Station

  Tateyama Cable Car from Tateyama to Bijodaira (7 minutes) The cable car may be replaced by a bus.

  2) Bijodaira

  Tateyama Highland Bus from Bijodaira to Murodo (50 minutes)

  3) Murodo

  Snow Wall : Enjoy strolling for about 500 meters along the Snow Corridor. (Approx. 60 min.)
  

  • * Since it is quite cold during the Snow Wall Walk Event, bringing heat retentive, light and portable jackets, comfortable walking shoes, gloves, hand warmer, sunglasses, earmuffs and rain jacket is highly recommended.
  • * Snow Wall Walk Event may be cancelled due to bad weather for safety reasons.

  Enjoy roasted eel lunch box at Restaurant Tateyama! (Approx. 60 min.)

  • * Children aged 2 to 5 will be provided with a children's curry lunch.
  • * Lunch will be served around 11：00AM but it may be delayed.

• Since it is quite cold during the Snow Wall Walk Event, bringing heat-retentive, light and portable jackets, comfortable walking shoes, gloves, hand warmer, sunglasses, earmuffs and rain jacket is highly recommended.
• Depending on how much snow falls, the height of snow wall may vary every year.
